If it smelt like rotten eggs, surely noone would go. It's really not that bad as there's plenty of otherwise fresh air floating about to mix with it, especially if there's a stiff breeze blowing. Parts smelt eggy, but the rest had quite a different smell, sort of 'burnt with a hint of fruit'. Often we were enveloped in the steam and we lived to tell the tale.
You all look totally different to the Beach Pic. Younger. It's all that squinting in the bright sunlight on Mt. Maunganui beach that's distorted our Peter Pan youthful looks. Now you know the truth. :icon_biggrin:
