Default Bad weather in the making?

They had 2 of that scale closer to the surface in wellington the other day. No damage was caused, just a few things like pulsarblu says falling of shelves. I also was shocked when I saw 5.4 richter scale measurement but when you read how deep under the dround it is you start to breathe easy a bit (me anyway).

It's really different to good old safe UK of course and my Wife has similar concerns but I would say the threat of criminal damage/attack or even a road accident would be greater than the threat posed by earthquake damage.

Just make sure when you settle all the T's and I's are crossed and dotted regarding natural damage and building insurance.
