As long as those jobs are skilled, and you have experience in that field, then getting permanent residency shouldnt be too difficult.

It does, of course, depend on age, amount of work experience related to your job, qualifications etc etc, so try taking the points test on the immigration website as if you had a job. If you score enough, you're in with a good chance!
