Hi Taffy, I just received the sponsorship form for a work permit and I don't like it. One has to prove that one can support a person from a minimum of $400 month to $1000 for 12 to 24 months and then get a declaration from the bank to say you have that money. I haven't got that king of money but I am freehold to the value od $450,000. Now I am told it is better for the person to come in as a visitor and she is allowed 3months and in that time she can find a job and apply for a permit. Is this the way to go???
