We didnt, but should have for our daughter! We havent needed ours, but our daughters school wants proof of immunisations etc, so it's important to at least get your hands on any childrens medical records.

Unless you've had anything seriously wrong in the past thought, I wouldnt worry too much about them. Your GP doesnt need them to register you, and you will just be started on new records here.
