My background is IT engineering and web development. The main problems when wanting IT work is so many companies want you to have an MSCE or MCP etc etc which I dont have, but plenty of others do!

If anything, I'd recommend doing an MSCE, or at least do one module and get an MCP.

For those reading who dont have a clue what I mean, MCSE is Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and MCP is Microsoft Certified Professional. They are only bits of paper that make Microsoft even more wealthy, but they do tend to open doors in IT!

(Yes, OK, the MCSE is a hard qualification! I know, I'm doing it!)
