Default Kiwi open for questions

I keep scanning seek.co.nz and itmaniacs etc.. but there doesn't seem to be THAT many IT jobs around (for a country that has a massive skills shortage anyway)
I've seen a few Cisco jobs around which is the reason why I decided to make a start at the Cisco jobs.. my other specialised subject is IBM As400 and there are absolutely NO As400 jobs around.

What's your area of IT expertise? Are you a code jockey of some kind? I remember reading some of your posts shortly after you got there and you seemed very downhearted about the job scene... Should I start thinking of a non IT get out clause before we get there? My wife should be okay for work as she is (or will be a midwife)

thanks again for your swift replies...
