We live in Hamilton, and the IT jobs are not plentyful, thats for sure! Hamilton is the 4th largest city, and does have plenty of work flying around, but its more industrial engineering kind of jobs, than hi-tech sectors such as IT. When IT jobs do arise, then tend not to be too well paid.

It's Auckland or Wellington for the best paid, and best variety of work in IT.
