There's always a heap of ads for truck drivers in the papers, so plenty of work there. However, I dont think HGV driving is classed as skilled work, so probably wont be good enough for residency. If you are a qualified/highly experienced plasterer, then you may stand a better chance. Plasterers, as with any building related employment, is plentyful at the moment with large expansion going on in many places.
