No problem.....if you get PR without a job offer, then you have (I think) 6 months to pay the Migrant Levy.....and then it is 12 months to turn the Visa into a Permit, by entering the country.

If they start to change things and offer you a WTR Visa, then I think I am right in saying that as long as you get a job and stay in it for 3 months, then that automatically turns into PR....not 100% on that one though.....hence you could then jack in the job and do what you want!
