Finally put through my EOI (yes, I'm already in NZ!). 110 points, selected.

Had to save up some money after some rather unfortunate circumstances in my first 6 months. Working now, not an IT job, so didn't get included on the app. Though, they are going to be using me in some IT roles on the side, so I'll be able to get some more "career experience" which is one reason I wanted to come to NZ (low unemployment....oh, and to see the place too. Not too shabby :icon_eek: icon_exclaim.gif )

And then after everything goes through (eta 4-6 months) I can work for anyone, and they don't have to worry about the immigration hassles. The job I'm in now started in mid Jan, and my first interview was in September. Took them a long time to figure out if they wanted to go through with it.
