As Promised....
Firstly, a nice view, just for Steve:
Here's a very crowded beach scene, from Mount Maunganui:
Tauranga City Centre... Quite a lot of the towns and cities look similar to this style of construction, until you get to the larger centres where the buildings get a bit taller!!:
Not far from Tauranga, we have McLaren Falls (large waterfall used for hydroelecticity generation):
Further away in Taupo, this is Huka Falls. Its a warm water fall from the geothermal activity... quite odd to stick your hand in a waterfall and feel hot water!
Just outside Taupo, comes a place called 'Craters of the Moon'. Big holes in the floor with large pressurised steam vents coming from the depths below! Its a huge place well worth a walk round, but dont get too concerned when you feel the ground shaking underneath your feet.. Its, erm, normal...
And last, but not least... This is a piccy that Welshgirl took. Its just a piccy of the sky at sunset, but its probably the most amazing sunset we've ever seen. I dont know how or why, but clouds are very different and quite amazing compared to the UK! Unfortunately, the small picture doesnt do it justice...
Well, thats a few for now! Adding more to the collection soon, provided they dont drive anyone into depression as they cant be in NZ yet (eh Steve?!)
