Unless your electrical goods are very close to your heart, i wouldnt bother shipping them. Your TV will only work with modification, but your fridge will work fine with a change of plug, most other appliances work fine with a change of plug too.

Shipping them can be expensive though, and you will lose any warranty on the appliances.

Your best bet it to get a quote for shipping them, and an idea of how much you would get by selling them.

Add the cost of shipping to the income from sales (ie ?1000 for shipping plus ?1500 from sales = ?2500) and convert to NZD (would be approximately $6700) and that gives you the amount of money to replace them in NZ. $6700 will buy you a very nice TV, Fridge, Vacuum, Stereo system, kettle, iron, and probably even a 3 piece suite!
