Trade qualifications usually have to be assessed by the NZQA for suitability within New Zealand. Having said that though, you seem to have completed a formal apprenticeship and have many years experience behind you which will be invaluable.

I'm sure I saw something about aircraft engineers somewhere, i'll check it out and get back to you on that one.
