Default My New Cost of Living & Cost of Shopping Calculators

Hi Guys,
Who wants to have a go with the two new toys on my website ?
One of the main questions many people ask is "Will I earn enough in NZ to survive ?".
Well, these two toys may help answer that question.

Cost of Shopping Calculator:
If you're lazy, just click on 'low'/'med'/'high' at the bottom, and click on 'calculate total'.
That will tell you how much your shopping bill would be in NZ.
You can change the numbers to suite your tastes.

Cost of Living Calculator:
Again, for the lazy, click on 'low'/'med'/'high' at the bottom.
Before you click on 'calculate total', you have to clear either the rent or mortgage line. Otherwise you'll be billed for both !

I suggest you just play around for a bit to understand what all the buttons do, before you spend too much time fine tuning it to your tastes.

I've tried to find reasonable numbers for the 'quick buttons'.
I'd love to hear from those in NZ who can see if the answers match what they actually spend.
The shopping quantities are based on what we think we buy each week.
That's 2 adults and two young kids.

Have fun.

Cheers

Steve
