This is a rumour. The NZ Labour Government in power at the moment will not remove the nuclear free ban from NZ shores (hence the assumed reason why NZ doesn't have a free trade agreement with the US). It is rumoured the Opposition party leader Don Brash was saying that if National was in power, the Nuclear free ban would be removed by lunchtime but that is all wrapped up in beauracratic (sp?) bull and u won't get a straight answer from a politician (where in the world would you get a straight answer from any politician or political party)
