This information might be useful. I have bought some software called Tumonz. It is a computer based map of NZ. You can add other information such as campsites, aerial photos etc and it can be linked to most standard GPS units to allow a PC-based SatNav system.

If anyone is interested the website is www.tumonz.co.nz. If you want to order the package you will have to do it over the phone or email from the UK as the online ordering does not cope with UK deliveries.

This was the best I could find after an extensive search - If anybody else knows of similar packages please let me know.
