Well I arrived here 3 years ago from Newport South Wales and i am NEVER returning to live in the UK.

I have read a couple of posts on here and believe me the UK aint got nothing on NZ (Not even the rugby!!!!)


I have spoken to many ppl who have come out here in the IT industry (which i am in as well) and I have found that getting residency from outside NZ is a nitemare.

I did mine from inside, after i arrived.



Good luck with it all, it is worth it. I go for Citizenship shortly and also my son is reping for New Zealand in the TaeKwon-Do World Champs, i think we feel at home here.

On the word of crime, i live in Auckland, never lock my car at night. No one has touched it anywhere i park.
