| Dan-ish says: I think Taupo is great. My first experience of it was from 12,000 feet as I was rudely shoved out of an airplane. It looked good from up there. It is a lovely, lively town, with a lot going on. The lake is beautiful and offers lots of great activities, it is located in Central North Island so has easy(ish) access to Auckland (North), Wellington (South), Taranaki (West), and Napier (East). It's not too big and not too small. Worth a shoofty, wouldn't you say? |
